A few days ago I visited the Delta Sky Club (the business lounge of Delta Air Lines) in Narita International Airport, Japan.
It was really a good time, so I share the experiences and impressions!
Location and business hours
Location： Around Gate 22-25, Narita Intl Airport Terminal 1, Japan
Business Hours: 8:00 – 21:00
*The terminal has two wings, North and South. Although both are accessible to the Delta Sky Club, the North wing is much more convenient.
Who can access the Delta Sky Club?
In addition to business class tucket holders of Delta Air Lines, the Sky Team status holder can use.
One time use is also available.
Access
The Delta Sky Club locates inside area beyond security check.
It is a good point because we can relax until the last minutes of the final boarding call! lol
After security check, walk to the signboard of gate 22-25.
Then go right at this fork.
You will find a signboard “Airline lounge (upstairs)”
Go up this escalator being excited!
Here is the entrance of the Delta Sky Club! Receptionist is waiting for you.
Inside view
The left hand side of the reception is like this. Beautiful lighting!
Lots of magazines and newspaper are avairable.
Large tables, chairs and box type sofas with wonderful sky view. Wifi and USB sockets are free of use. There were few other guests at this time.
Bustling buffet section.
You can check flight information here and there.
Decorations of retro Japanese signboards on the wall. I guess they were made more than 60 years ago. Most of them are old shops’ billboards.
Perfectly cleaned lavatory.
Kids’ room. Family guests like it.
Shower room
Shower rooms are available in the Delta Sky Club for free. It’s really helpful especially before a long flight!
By the way, I love drinking ice-cold beer in airport lounge. If you are same as me, you want to take a hot shower before, don’t you?
The best way is to ask the receptionist “let me use shower room now” when you check in the lounge. Then you will get a card key like this by exchanging with your flight ticket.

After receiving the card key, proceed to buffet section. You will find the way to the shower room behind the buffet section.

Hair dryer, tissue paper, hand towels and cups. But I could not find amenity such as toothbrush or razor.

Looks expensive shampoo, conditioner and shower jel.

After taking a shower, return your card key and receive flight ticket.
Beverages
In the Delta Sky Club, all the soft drinks and alcohols are free of charge.

I don’t know its name… Detox drink?
The brands of draft beer are Asahi and Premium Molts. I prefer Molts, but Asahi is also very good.
Various spilits.
Japanese sake was chilled in ice and water. So nice.
Coffee maker supplies 7 kinds of coffee and boild water.
Tomato juice and milk in a fridge.
Foods
Both hot and cold meals are available. I tried almost all foods small by small, and I conclude…
The best food in the Delta Sky Club in Narita Airport is Beef Curry Rice.
I feel many of airline lounges in Narita Airport, including Delta, ANA and JAL, are conpeting the tastes of beef curry lol
Once you take one step into the lounge, you must try it.
Curry with miso soup is my favorite style.
Fried noodle and fried rice are also yummy.
Healthy Vegetable sticks / potato chips.
Various breads. I like donuts shaped one.
But it would be more happy if butter was not melt.
Totally, I perfectly satisfied with foods and beverages!
Smoking room
The Delta Sky Clus has no smoking room, however, a public smoking room is closely located to the lounge outside. So smokers don’t need to worry about.
You can come back into the lounge after going out.

GOOD POINTS
- Beautiful apperance and kind staff
- Splended beef cury rice
- Clean shower room for free
- Lots of magazines and newespapers
- Kids’ room for family
POINTS TO BE IMPROVED
- I want amenity including toothbrush etc. in the shower room
- Butter should be kept cold（^^;）
Anyway I spent very happy and confortable time in the lounge.
Wish I can go back again!
